Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience or completion of an accredited CDL school program.
• A proactive commitment to safety and adherence to local transit rules.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing into cabs/containers.
• Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Master the Route: safely transport roll-off containers across New Bern area.
• Operate Heavy Equipment: command roll-off trucks and hydraulic equipment.
• Be the Face of GFL: build positive customer relationships with professional service.
• Safety First: complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Problem Solve: communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and mechanics to keep routes running smoothly.
