GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a local CDL Class A or B driver to service commercial properties on assigned routes in North Carolina. You will operate front-load vehicles, perform safety inspections, and interact professionally with business owners and customers on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience or a CDL school certificate.
• Ability to safely operate and back up heavy equipment in busy commercial areas.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, open corral gates, and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Master the Route: Drive commercial front-load vehicles along assigned routes to service businesses and commercial properties.
• Operate with Precision: Use hydraulics and controls to lift and dump commercial dumpsters smoothly and safely.
• Be the Face of GFL: Positively interact with local business owners and community members along your daily route.
• Keep Safety First: Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate logs, and follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Navigate like a Pro: Use GPS and route maps to navigate commercial parking lots and tight spaces safely.
