Local CDL Driver Dual Role for $26/HR

• Local paid hourly at $26
• Shift: 6 am to 4:30 pm, rotating weekly schedule with 40 hours/week. OT available based on company needs, including covering for absences.
• Schedule: Week 1 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday; Week 2 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Equipment: 2024 and newer Freightliner Cascadia trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Driving primarily between the plant and warehouse (2.5 miles apart). During the week, load/move 2-3 truckloads to the warehouse and return empty trailers to the plant.
• On weekends, load/move up to 6 trailers from the plant to the warehouse.
• Operate CDL and forklift in tandem with a partner to load products onto trailers, transport to the warehouse, and unload into warehouse bins.
• Assist with staging outbound shipments and loading carrier trailers as they arrive.

Qualifications:

• Compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
• Ability to detect and minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations regarding safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection, and cargo transport.
