• Shift: 6 am to 4:30 pm, rotating weekly between two schedules, with 40 hours per week. OT is available based on company needs, including covering for absences.

Responsibilities:

• Drive between the plant and warehouse (2.5 miles). Load/move 2-3 truckloads in the morning, unload trailers back at the plant at day's end.
• On weekends, load/move up to 6 trailers from plant to warehouse.
• Operate CDL and forklift equipment in partnership with another forklift operator, loading products onto trailers and transporting them to the warehouse, then scanning into warehouse bins.
• Assist with staging outbound shipments and loading carrier trailers as they arrive.

Qualifications:

• Compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
• Ability to detect and minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations regarding safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection, and transportation of materials.
