Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver in Dallas, TX for local deliveries with a 7:00am–5:00pm schedule and home daily. Enjoy competitive pay, weekends off, and no-touch freight.

The role involves dropping and hooking trailers, executing roughly three routes per shift within a 150‑mile radius, and driving a 53’ automatic truck during 10–12 hour shifts. Must have CDL-A, 23+ years old, and pass a DOT exam.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license.
• Must pass a DOT physical from a nationally registered DOT-approved physician.
• PSP score of 10 or below in the past 3 years (higher scores reviewed).
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$26.00/hr

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 3 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 10-12 hour shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
