Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring CDL Class A drivers for local routes in the Pittsburgh area. You will be home daily with no touch freight, earning $26.00-28.00 per hour plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus (majority paid at 30 days, remainder at 90 days).

Shifts include 1st and 2nd with 7:00am and 10:00am start times. Location: Biglerville, PA 17307. Requirements: CDL-A, DOT physical, PSP 10 or below, clean driving record, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years; small number of violations acceptable with review.
• DOT physical; valid CDL-A license; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Handle local truckload deliveries; home daily.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles; about 3-4 routes per shift.
• Drive automatic 53’ truck/dry van for 8-12 hour shifts; variable hours.

Hourly Pay:

$26.00-28.00/hr with $2,500 sign on bonus (majority paid at 30 days, second portion paid at 90 days)

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am start time

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 10am start time

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook; home daily

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 3-4 routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8-12 hour shifts; Routes and hours are estimated. Some days are short while other days are worked all the way to 12 hours

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
