48forty Solutions is hiring a local CDL-A driver for full-time routes in the Pittsburgh area. You’ll earn $26/hour, have home daily time, weekends off, and no touch freight on local deliveries.

Responsibilities include local truckload deliveries with drop and hook, 150-mile trailer runs, and 8–12 hour shifts in a 53’ automatic truck. Join a team that values safety and reliability and enjoy a stable daily schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Pay & Schedule

Hourly Pay $26.00/hr

Shift(s)

• 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00am start time
• 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 10:00am start time

Location Biglerville, PA 17307

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook; home daily
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles making about 3-4 routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 8-12 hour shifts; routes and hours are estimated. Some days are short while other days are worked all the way to 12 hours

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Working Conditions

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a vehicle cab for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
• The noise level in the work environment depends on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
