Job summary

48forty Solutions LLC is seeking a CDL Driver to join our Lockport, IL team. You’ll perform local truckload deliveries with no touch freight, typically home daily and weekends off. You’ll operate an automatic 53’ dry van and handle drop and hook duties.

Required: CDL-A, 1 year of driving within 3 years, DOT physical, PSP ≤10, no major violations, and strong English skills. This role emphasizes safety and reliable on-time performance.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and 1 year of driving in the past 3 years.
• Must be 23 years or older and legally eligible to work.
• Valid CMV license and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• No disqualifications to drive and DOT road test completed.
• PSP scores 10 or below in the past 3 years; 2 or fewer moving violations.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficient.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles per shift.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$29.00/hr

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 6:00 AM -2:30 PM

What You\'ll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van

What You\'ll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
