Job summary

Maersk is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely transport freight to customers and distribution centers. You will perform inspections, secure cargo, maintain logs, and uphold professional customer service throughout deliveries.

The role requires compliance with DOT regulations and a clean driving record. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with pay rate $36.00–$38.00 per hour and bi-weekly payroll. Opportunities to grow within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
• Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers in varied conditions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight according to routes, schedules, and customer requirements.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety policies at all times.
• Maintain logs, delivery documents, and inspection reports accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes, delays, and issues.
• Operate at loading docks and customer locations safely.
• Report accidents or issues promptly.
• Keep vehicle and work area clean and professional.
• Provide courteous service to customers and partners.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight when required.
