Maersk is seeking a CDL Class A Driver in Linden, NJ to safely transport freight to customers and distribution centers. Expect a pay of $29.00 per hour, biweekly, with a Monday-Friday night shift from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

The role requires compliance with DOT rules, accurate logs, and professional customer service. The position emphasizes cargo security, vehicle inspections, and the ability to work independently or with supervision as needed, including occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
• Ability to log trips and transportation records accurately.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight per routes and schedules.
• Perform pre-, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, and protect cargo during transit.
• Follow DOT regulations, hours-of-service, and safety policies.
• Maintain logs, bills of lading, and inspection reports.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes and delays.
• Maneuver vehicles at loading docks and customer locations.
• Report accidents, violations, or equipment issues promptly.
• Keep vehicle and work area clean and professional.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed.
