Job summary

Maersk is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely transport freight to customers, distribution centers and other locations. The role requires operating tractor-trailers, completing inspections, securing cargo, maintaining logs, and delivering professional customer service.

Qualified candidates have a valid CDL Class A, current DOT medical card, at least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, and the ability to work Wednesday through Saturday with possible overtime during peak season.

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record.
Current DOT medical certification required.
At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
Transport and deliver freight according to routes, schedules and customer requirements.
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections.
Load, secure and protect cargo during transit.
Maintain accurate logs and delivery documents.
Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and issues.
Report accidents and unsafe conditions promptly.
Provide courteous customer service.
