The role requires timely delivery, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to DOT hours-of-service regulations across varied driving conditions. Local runs with occasional overnight travel are expected; flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Willingness to work overtime and varied shifts.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight according to routes and customer requirements.
• Perform required pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery documents, and bills of lading.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and vehicle issues.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight when required.
