Job summary

Martin Brower is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for local routes with home daily. You will safely operate a commercial vehicle, load and deliver to local customers, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Eligible candidates have 1+ years of Class A driving experience, are at least 21, hold a valid CDL, and can lift up to 170 pounds. We offer weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package after 90 days.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Class A driving experience or equivalent military driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle and company equipment.
• Deliver products to local customers and unload as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle; operate PIT/MHE as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers
• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
