Job summary

Martin Brower in Washington state is hiring a CDL Class A Driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle and deliver products to our customers in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation. The role involves unloading, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and using PIT/MHE equipment; requires 1+ year of Class A driving, 21+ years old, and a valid CDL-A license.

Responsibilities

• Delivering products at Martin Brower, a trusted partner in serving the fast-food industry for nearly 90 years, including renowned brands like McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Chipotle.

  • Excellent starting pay: $36.37/hour and annual increases.

  Must be able to work any shift in a 24/7 operations! Including weekends, holidays, overnights.

Position responsibilities:

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers

• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle

• This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
