Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. is seeking delivery personnel to run daily routes with frequent stops, loading packages onto hand trucks and unloading at each stop. You will work in a cross-dock model, loading nightly deliveries and returning trucks to the lot after routes.

Occasional loading, palletizing, and other duties may be assigned by supervision. Prospective drivers should have at least one year of route delivery experience and a valid Class B CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class B CDL preferred.
• English language proficiency required to communicate and read road signs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Lift, push, or move product weighing up to 50–80 lbs frequently.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain proper signatures; communicate errors/returns.
• Call in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and company rules.
