Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Orlando seeks an experienced delivery driver to operate daily routes, loading and unloading products at customer sites. You will work with a cross-dock model, use hand trucks and pallets, and may assist with loading and palletizing as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• One-year route delivery experience or equivalent driving a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with customers and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer and place in designated customer storage areas; move pallets as needed.
• Lift or move product weighing 1–75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; stack/unstack pallets and hand carts.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; report invoice discrepancies.
• Call in when a customer does not receive entire order; address complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections following DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
