Job summary

Colorado Psychiatric in Denver is seeking a delivery driver to run daily routes with frequent stops, load packages onto hand trucks, and unload at each stop as directed by the Transportation Department Manager.

Responsibilities include assisting with loading, palletizing, following DOT regulations, and maintaining safety and accuracy while delivering to customers in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED or equivalent.
• One year of route delivery experience or related straight truck driving.
• Valid CDL - Class B (Class A preferred) and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated storage areas.
• Lift, push, or move product up to 75 pounds (100 pounds maximum) and stack pallets as needed.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures, report discrepancies to management.
• Report shorts and communicate errors/returns to appropriate departments.
• Follow DOT safety rules, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and ensure company equipment is used properly.
