Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. is seeking a route driver to execute daily deliveries, loading and unloading products with hand trucks and following the designated route as assigned by the Transportation Department Manager.

The role operates in a cross-dock model, with occasional loading assistance and adherence to safety and DOT rules. Candidates must have a valid CDL-B (A preferred), be able to read and speak English, and frequently lift up to 75 lbs while maintaining customer service quality and accurate

Qualifications

• One year of route delivery experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product up to 75 pounds; stack/unstack pallets and hand cart.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
