Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks an active, safety‑minded driver to run daily routes, load and unload product, and assist with occasional loading tasks as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.

You will operate in a cross‑dock model, hand trucks, pallets, and hand cart usage, with pre/post‑trip DOT inspections and strong attention to safety and customer service. CDL Class B is preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One-year route delivery experience or similar driving a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, and to make entries on reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; stack pallets with a hand cart.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate errors/returns.
• Calls in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handles customer complaints professionally.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and company policies.
