Job summary

FreshPoint Central Florida, Inc., a division of Sysco, is seeking a delivery driver to run daily routes and service customers in the Jacksonville area. You will load and unload products, operate a hand cart, and maintain safe practices while driving to multiple stops.

This is a customer-facing role requiring a Class B CDL and reliable attendance. The position emphasizes route efficiency, product handling, and collaboration with the Transportation Department.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED or equivalent.
• Experience: One year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck.
• Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).
• English language proficiency to interact with the public and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; stack pallets and use hand cart.
