Job summary

Sysco Hawaii is hiring for a delivery driver role. You will drive a tractor-trailer to deliver and unload products for Sysco customers, following state DOT regulations and Sysco safety methods. Overtime, weekends, holidays, and early start times are required to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, verifying deliveries, and maintaining safety and inventory practices. Must have a Class B CDL and meet age/experience requirements; benefits information available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years local food or beverage delivery experience
• Valid Class B CDL with insurability standards
• 21+ years of age
• 1 year CMV experience
• Pass employment testing
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for job and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows
• Unload product by hand or with hand cart; move pallets in various conditions
• Lift/carry items up to 75 pounds; handle pallets and load bars
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies
• Complete DOT logs and company paperwork; follow Sysco safety methods
• Maintain sanitary conditions in tractor, trailer, and warehouse areas
• Operate equipment safely and attend required company meetings
• Other duties as assigned
