Job summary

Sysco in Hawaii seeks a delivery driver to operate a tractor-trailer, deliver and unload products for Sysco customers, and uphold DOT and Sysco safety standards. Overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying early start times are required to meet customer needs.

You will load and unload, verify deliveries, collect payments where required, complete DOT logs, and follow safety procedures. A valid license, 1 year CMV experience, and ability to read and communicate in English are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years local food or beverage delivery experience preferred.
• Pallet breakdown and hand cart delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product within route schedule and time windows.
• Unload product from trailer and place in customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; contact management for invoice discrepancies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT-compliant checks and Sysco policy adherence.
• Follow SyscoSafe methods and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of tractor, trailer, warehouse and yard areas.
• Complete required paperwork for damaged goods, returns and notices.
