Job summary

Sysco Hawaii is seeking a delivery driver to operate a tractor-trailer, deliver and unload products for Sysco customers in Hawaii. This role requires excellent customer service, adherence to state and DOT regulations, and safety-first work practices.

Overtime, weekends, and varied early start times are common to meet customer needs. Responsibilities include on-time delivery, unloading, signing for items, and completing necessary paperwork; involves lifting up to 75 pounds, with some tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years local food/beverage delivery experience preferred.
• 1 year CMV driving experience required; may include-entry level training for internal associates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows.
• Unload product from trailer and place in customer storage areas.
• Lift and move 1–75 lb (up to 100 lb) pallets; use hand carts where needed.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies.
• Perform DOT logs and safety checks; follow Sysco policies.
• Maintain vehicle and warehouse sanitation; operate equipment safely.
• Attend company meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
