Job summary

Sysco is seeking a delivery driver in Hawaii to transport and unload products for Sysco customers. You will comply with DOT and Sysco safety rules, provide excellent customer service, and work varied early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities include delivering on schedule, unloading with hand carts, handling pallets, collecting signatures and payments where required, and adhering to DOT logs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability standards.
• 1 year commercial driving experience.
• Pass employment testing.
• Read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows; inform management of deviations.
• Unload product from trailer and place in designated areas using hand cart or by hand.
• Frequently lift up to 100 pounds and stack pallets using hand cart.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate invoice discrepancies.
• Collect money (cash or checks) where required.
• Complete DOT logs and maintain paperwork per Sysco procedures.
• Follow SyscoSafe work methods and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in tractor/trailer and warehouse areas.
• Attend required company meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
