Job summary

Sysco Corp. in Kahului, Hawaii seeks a delivery driver to operate a tractor-trailer, deliver and unload products, and provide excellent customer service under DOT regulations. Overtime, weekends, holidays, and varied early start times are required to meet customers' needs.

Responsibilities include on-time deliveries, unloading, collecting signatures, maintaining safety, completing DOT logs, and adhering to SyscoSafe methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years local food or beverage delivery experience preferred.
• 1 year commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; stack pallets.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities following DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
• Follow SyscoSafe preferred work methods at all times.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer and in warehouse.
