The position requires a Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, 12 months of recent driving experience, and DOT/safety screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Must have 12 months (1 year) of verifiable driving experience within the previous 24 months.
• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement for interstate driving, with no air brake restriction.
• Complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background checks including motor vehicle record review.

Responsibilities

• Act in a safe and productive manner, starting shift promptly and following the schedule.
• Operate equipment in compliance with motor vehicle laws and safety policies, including DOT pre/post inspection if required.
• Operate a Class A Hazmat vehicle on scheduled routes, delivering and picking up cylinders and other goods.
• Maintain compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations, prioritizing safety.

Job Overview

• Shift: Monday - Friday, 1700-1900 Start Time (Schedule may vary based on operational demands and peak business periods)
• Home Time: Daily
• Annual Salary: $95,000+
• CPM Rate: $0.61-$0.67
• Daily rate: $350.00, CO2 Deliveries (5-7 routes monthly)
• Bonus Pay: $1,000 Monthly (this compensation acknowledges readiness to respond to urgent delivery needs and adapt to varying shift requirements)

The Red Classic Transport Driver (Special Services) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of diesel-powered tractor‑trailer combination Commercial Motor Vehicles. This includes transporting and delivering products or materials while adhering to FMCSA regulations and company policies.

This essential logistical position ensures timely and reliable service by meeting stringent pick-up and delivery schedules for all customers. This role is part of a special project, requiring flexibility to support both core transport operations and additional logistical needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and productive workday by promptly completing start‑of‑shift activities and reviewing the work schedule.
• Safely operate equipment following all motor vehicle laws, without distraction, and maintain a safe working environment by completing all assigned safety training activities and adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including conducting DOT pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle, if required.
• Safely operate a Class A Hazmat vehicle on scheduled routes, delivering and picking up compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders, and hard goods.
• Maintain compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations, upholding safety as the top priority.

Work Environment

This position requires the driver to work outside 25% of the time, exposed to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to high and low temperatures, humidity, wind, and rain.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess 12 months (1 year) of verifiable driving experience within the previous 24 months.
• Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement valid for Interstate driving, without an air brake restriction from the state of residence.
• Successfully complete pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check and motor vehicle record review.
• Acceptable driving record required.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position and to the FMCSA regulations.
• Must have the ability to read and clearly speak the English language. Understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
