Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for home daily schedules near Fort Wayne, IN, with frequent Chicago-area runs. Expect approximately 1,900 miles per week and a mix of drop/hook and live loads.

Earn $80,000–$88,000 average annual gross, plus a $5,000 bonus, with daily home time and a Sunday–Thursday shift pattern. Automatic trucks, slip-seat operation, and 18 paid days off (12 PTO + 6 holidays) are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Clean driving record required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 60 days, reimbursement available.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal freight with daily Chicago runs.
• Container pickup/delivery between customers and rail yard.
• Approximately 1,900 miles per week.
• Day shift: 60% drop/hook, 40% live; Night shift: 80% drop/hook, 20% live.
