4th Day Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for the Bell Gardens, CA yard. You will operate a dedicated local intermodal container route serving LA area, Inland Empire, and Grapevine corridors, returning home daily with shifting day or night schedules.

As a local intermodal driver, you will handle preloaded containers, live loads/unloads, and drop-and-hook moves, using an intermodal chassis. This role is slip-seat with visits to Shafter/Lebec for certain runs.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
• Experienced first-seat drivers preferred/required.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Must be able to operate intermodal containers secured on chassis.
• Must be flexible with dispatch-assigned routes, including mandatory Shafter/Lebec runs.
• Must be able to work the assigned day or night schedule.

Aufgaben

• Dedicated local intermodal container operation.
• Slip-seat operation; trucks remain parked at the Bell Gardens yard.
• Drivers typically use their full 11-hour driving time, and some shifts may run up to the full 14-hour on-duty window depending on freight demand.
