Accent IT in Bell Gardens, CA is hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul intermodal containers throughout Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. Expect a five-day workweek, daily home time, and a mix of preloaded and live freight with day or night shifts.

Pay includes $19.25 per hour plus $18.71 per stop, plus a weekly range of $1,000–$1,500. Requirements: valid Class A CDL, at least 3 months of verifiable CDL experience, clean driving record, and a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers; must cover assigned Shafter and Lebec pickups/deliveries.
• Comfort with intermodal operations and automatic dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal container operations throughout Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
• Operate through rail ramps in Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry, and Bloomington.
• Some pickups and deliveries in Shafter and Lebec areas.
• Mix of drop-and-hook, live loading/unloading, and preloaded freight.
• Slip-seat operation; trucks parked at Bell Gardens yard.
