Job summary

Accent IT is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver based in Bell Gardens, CA, delivering intermodal containers across the Los Angeles and Inland Empire region. Earn $19.25/hour plus $18.71 per stop, with a weekly range of $1,000–$1,500 and daily home time.

You will work a five-day week with day/night shifts, operating a mix of preloaded and live freight, with Slip-seat operation and automatic dispatch. Home daily; shifts may extend to 14 hours depending on freight.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Able to cover assigned Shafter and Lebec pickups/deliveries.
• Intermodal operations and automatic dispatch familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal container operations throughout LA and Inland Empire.
• Operate through rail ramps in Long Beach, LA, Commerce, City of Industry, Bloomington.
• Occasional pickups/deliveries in Shafter and Lebec.
• Slip-seat operation with mix of drop-and-hook and live freight.
• No-touch freight; automatic dispatch; trucks parked at Bell Gardens yard.
