Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver to haul container freight in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area. You’ll enjoy daily home time, ride an auto-dispatch account, and operate on a slip-seat fleet with trucks based in the San Bernardino yard.

Typical runs feature 3–6 loads per day, with some northbound trips to Shafter/Lebec and multiple ramps including Long Beach and Commerce. Hazmat is not required, and a valid CDL-A plus DOT Medical Card are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
• DOT Medical Card is required.
• No SAP Drivers.
• Hazmat not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate local intermodal container freight in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area.
• Average 3–6 loads per day.
• Auto-dispatch account; drivers do not select routes.
• Slip-seat operation; trucks parked at the San Bernardino yard.
• Freight moves through ramps including Long Beach, LA, Commerce, City of Industry and Bloomington; some trips north to Shafter/Lebec.
