Trucking Group UTAH is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for Fontana, CA. Earn $19.25 per hour plus $18.71 per stop with daily home time and a 10-hour break. Routes cover Inland Empire and Los Angeles, with 1,500 weekly miles on average and mixed freight operations including drop-and-hook and live-loads.

Shifts are night-based with daily home time. You will operate from five intermodal ramps and handle a variety of intermodal loads, requiring a valid CDL-A and compliance with DOT

Pay & Schedule

Job Details

• Dedicated local intermodal container operation

• Some runs travel north through the Grapevine to the Shafter and Lebec areas
• Average 1,500 miles per week
• Combination of drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight
• No driver-assist unloading
• Slip-seat operation; trucks are parked at the San Bernardino yard
• Auto-dispatch account; drivers do not choose their routes
• Northern deliveries and pickups are mandatory when assigned
