Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Grocery Driver to deliver fresh and frozen groceries with daily home time. You will operate 46', 48', 51', or 53' reefer trailers and serve supermarkets and distribution centers across NJ, CT, MA, VT, RI, and NH, with an average of 31 stops per week.

Expect 12–14 hour shifts, Sunday–Thursday, home daily, with start times between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. A $10,000 bonus is available and hotel rooms are provided for overnight layovers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Good customer service skills.
• Personal transportation to and from work daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
• Operate 46', 48', 51' or 53' reefer trailers.
• Slip-seat operation; drivers may share trucks.
• Meet daily home time and schedule.
• Provide driver-assist unloading (1–3 pallets per stop).
• Maintain safety and comply with regulations.
