Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Grocery Driver to deliver fresh and frozen groceries across the Northeast, with home daily and a $10k bonus. Expect ~1,381 miles per week, about 31 stops weekly, and daytime start shifts between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Responsibilities include unloading 1–3 pallets per stop using a pallet jack and liftgate, with occasional hotel layovers and support for local accounts as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• DOT Medical Card is required.
• Clean driving record.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to unload frozen products using a pallet jack and liftgate.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
• NYC delivery experience in all five boroughs preferred (3+ months).

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers across the Northeast.
• Operate 46-, 48-, 51-, and 53-foot reefer trailers.
• Complete ~31 stops per week with ~1,381 miles per week.
• Unload 1–3 pallets per stop using pallet jack and liftgate.
• Occasional backhauls to distribution center and hotel layovers.
• Support other local accounts as needed.
