Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Westfield, MA, is looking for a CDL-A local grocery truck driver. Earn $100,000 annually plus a $5,000 bonus while delivering fresh and frozen products throughout the NYC metro area, Long Island, and New Jersey.

Home daily with a consistent 1,381 miles per week across multiple stops. Typical shifts run 12–14 hours, Monday–Friday with every other Saturday; hotel accommodations may be provided for layovers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver's license.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record.
• No SAP drivers.
• Comfortable unloading frozen freight using pallet jacks and liftgate.
• NYC borough delivery experience preferred.
• Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a dedicated local grocery route within a 250-mile radius of Westfield, MA.
• Deliver to supermarkets and distribution centers in NYC, Long Island, and New Jersey.
• Unload 1–3 pallets per stop with pallet jack and liftgate.
• Return product pickups and backhauls may be required.
• Typically run one long route per day with occasional shorter routes; home daily.
