Position Summary
Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.
Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To
Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; identifying replenishment needs; transporting product between backroom and display floor; utilizing hand tools; replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building and changing displays; maintaining signage; cleaning spaces; and securing damaged products.
Managing backroom inventory; reporting stock levels; evaluating damaged products; re-packing; organizing backroom materials; operating powered and manual equipment; completing store documentation; and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
Providing customer service by resolving concerns, answering questions, and assisting store personnel.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills And Experience
Must be at least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
Six months of work experience in physically demanding roles or environments involving heavy lifting.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
Pass a drug test and background check.
Preferred Skills And Experience
Experience in the beverage industry or customer service.
One year of experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
Certifications in straddle stacker and powered pallet jack operation.
Physical Demands And Work Environment
Ability to lift, push, pull, and manipulate objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly; stand for at least 6 hours; walk at least 4 miles during shift; and operate equipment safely.
