Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

1. Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; identifying replenishment needs; transporting product; utilizing hand tools; replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building and changing displays; maintaining signage; cleaning; and securing damaged products.
2. Managing backroom organization, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting backstock.
3. Evaluating damaged or defective products and re-packing as needed.
4. Organizing backroom materials and operating powered/manual equipment.
5. Completing store documentation and maintaining cleanliness.
6. Communicating with store and company personnel regarding responsibilities and safety concerns.
7. Following training, policies, and legal requirements, including safety and operating procedures.
8. Utilizing mobile devices for work activities and operating a motor vehicle.
9. Providing customer service, resolving concerns, and assisting store personnel.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

• At least 18 years old or meet minimum state legal age requirements.
• Six months of relevant work experience involving heavy lifting or physical work.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Certifications for straddle stacker and powered pallet jack.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and manipulating objects up to 50 lbs.
• Operating transport equipment over distances.
• Standing for at least 6 hours, walking at least 4 miles per day.
• Ability to read various print sizes and perform job duties with accommodations if needed.
• Overtime may be required due to delivery schedules and operational needs.
