Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a CDL-A driver to operate tractor-trailers for freight transport across diverse terrains. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, adhere to FMCSA regulations, and ensure safe loading/unloading of cargo.

This role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, forklift operation, and a commitment to safety and customer service. Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and residency within 75 miles

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
21+ years old as per FMCSA regulations.
Must possess a valid Class A CDL and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.
HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
Must reside within 75 miles of the Service Center/work assignment.
Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
Able to operate forklift (7,500 lb capacity).
Must be able to lift ~70 lbs and handle physical requirements.

Responsibilities

Operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight following laws and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety.
Maintain compliance with FMCSA rules and overall safety.
Load/unload freight at customer sites when required.
Provide safe and courteous service to customers and the public.
Report maintenance issues promptly to Fleet Services.
