Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school; valid Class A CDL.
• Age 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or plan to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last ten years.
• Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10–12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
• Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow.
