Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Madison, WI is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) to deliver products to customers, complete paperwork, and provide excellent service while touching freight on 10–12 stops daily.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain DOT compliance, and help keep vehicles in good repair. A valid CDL, hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 60 days), and a clean driving record are required. The role offers stable hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Two years of driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification with valid CDL.
• 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization continue growing.
