Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B). The role involves delivering to customers with 10–12 stops daily, handling paperwork, and ensuring DOT-compliant hazmat shipping orders.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections and coordinate with customers and internal teams to meet service goals. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement, and at least two years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; English reading/writing proficiency required.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or Truck Driving School certification with a valid Class B CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last ten years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day, with careful handling and accurate paperwork.
• Count and record quantities delivered and picked up accurately.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report needed maintenance.
• Build relationships with customers and internal partners to meet goals.
