Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Local P&D/City Driver to handle freight between service centers and customer locations. You will load, unload, and secure cargo, monitor shipments, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A with hazmat endorsements, a clean driving record, and 12 months of driving experience or completion of OD’s training program. Local shifts with comprehensive benefits are available.

Formación

• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with double/triple trailers, tanker, and hazardous material endorsements.
• Must have acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Must have 12 months tractor-trailer driving experience or graduation from approved driving program.
• Must be able to operate tablets when required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate vehicle safely within DOT regulations.
• Load/unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, or manually per DOT guidelines.
• Secure freight inside trailers and inspect loads for safety.
• Read and interpret shipping labels and documents.
• Meet schedules and coordinate with service centers and customers.
