Job summary

Saia LTL Freight is seeking a professional Class A CDL driver to transport freight between company terminals and customer sites within a defined region. You will be responsible for loading, delivering, and documenting shipments while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, Hazmat/Tanker/Twin Trailer endorsements, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Twin Trailer endorsements.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work flexible schedules including nights.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailers to deliver and pick up freight.
• Sort, load, and unload freight at company and customer locations.
• Plan routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain required records and paperwork.
• Serve as first point of contact for delivery-related issues.

Skills

Able to lift 100 lbs

Willing to work nights/weekends/holids

Read/write English proficient

Authorized to work in US

Education

High school diploma or GED

Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker/Twin Trailer endorsements
