Job summary

Saia LTL Freight is seeking a driver to move freight between company terminals and customer sites within a defined geographic area. You will ensure on-time, safe deliveries and maintain accurate load paperwork.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class A CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements, has at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, and can lift up to 100 pounds. We offer competitive hourly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker, and twin trailer endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• No DUI, DWI, or license suspensions for moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend English to perform job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailers to deliver and pick up freight.
• Plans routes and schedules for timely deliveries and pickups.
• Follows pre-trip, post-trip, and billing procedures.
• Conducts inspections following safety and quality control procedures.
• Maintains records and load-related paperwork.
• Serves as first point of contact for delivery-related issues.
