Job summary

Saia LTL Freight is seeking a professional driver to move freight between company terminals and customer sites within a defined area. You will ensure on-time deliveries, maintain accurate load paperwork, and uphold safety standards.

Qualified candidates have a Class A CDL with hazmat/tanker/twin trailer endorsements and at least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. The role requires lift capability and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDL Class A with hazmat, tanker, and twin trailer endorsements required.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight.
• Sort, load, and unload freight at locations.
• Plan routes and schedules for timely deliveries and pickups.
• Follow safety, pre-trip, post-trip, and billing procedures.
• Maintain records and load-related paperwork.
• Serve as first point of contact for delivery-related issues.
