Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in Bend, OR is seeking a qualified Class A CDL driver to operate tractor-trailers and haul freight across routes and terrain. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• 21 years of age required per FMCSA regulations
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required
• Able to drive a tractor trailer per FMCSA requirements
• Stable employment history preferred
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs. or more as needed
• Must meet English reading/speaking requirements per FMCSA

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with Company and FMCSA regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe conditions
• Maintain required logs and records, adhere to safety and regulatory requirements
• Load/unload freight and assist with dock activities as needed
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the public
