Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for home daily shifts in Manassas, VA. The role focuses on safe, on-time delivery of goods with local routes that get you home daily. You will operate tractor-trailers and perform routine inspections while complying with safety policies.

Base pay starts at $30.50 per hour with overtime after 40 hours per week, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered from day one. This position runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Qualifications

• CDL experience in the last 3 years (minimum 6 months).
• Ability to perform routine inspections and adhere to safety policies.
• Strong communication with dispatch and teams.

Base pay rates starting at $30.50per hour plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. These are shuttle runs moving products between buildings on the same campus or nearby locations.

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Drive tractors pulling 53-foot trailers in and around the site or on public roads


• Semi-touch freight position assisting in loading from the dock and unloading on the dock.


• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices


• Perform routine inspections


• Communicate effectively with dispatch

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years


• Must be at least 18 years oldi>
  
• A current valid Class A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
