Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for home daily local routes. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with early morning start times, enabling you to be home daily.

You will drive 53ft tractor trailers, perform safety inspections, and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time delivery. Eligibility requires CDL A, 6 months of CDL experience, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment or larger in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A current valid CDL A and an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Drive 53ft tractor trailer in and around the site or on public roads.
• Some touch freight position.
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch.

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
