Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Sparta, TN is seeking a CDL Class A Driver – Home Daily. You will run local routes, delivering goods to customers and returning home daily, with shifts Wednesday through Saturday from 7am to 6pm.

The role requires a current CDL A, a safe driving record, and a willingness to work weekends. Compensation starts at $23.75 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

• Approximately 30% of time in warehouse

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Drive 53ft dry swing door tractor trailer in and around the site or on public roads
• Touch freight position
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices
• Perform routine inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch
• 30% of the time will be in warehouse

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and a safe driving record

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
