Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to work locally and be home daily, with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 6:00am to 4:30pm. You will drive tractors and box trucks on site and nearby roads, perform pre/post inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries.

Starting pay is $30.00 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. Candidates must have a CDL-A, be 21+, and possess a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment or larger within the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current valid CDL A license and an acceptable MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years


• Must be at least 21 years old


• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
